An iconic 1840s heritage building in Launceston is on the market with a price guidance of $2.85 million to $2.95 million.

Kinross House at 91-95 George Street is a mixed commercial and residential building in the city’s café enclave.

It currently has nine apartments and four retail tenancies with a net rental of approximately $169,438.

The marketing suggests the building has “a unique fusion of architectural styles acquired over the years”.

It also suggests that it would be a target for investors looking for Airbnb rentals or a boutique hotel conversion.

The building is listed through Shepherd & Heap agents Blake Shepherd and Ian Singline.
