AURA by Aqualand has quickly become the pre-eminent new apartment development in North Sydney.

The Woods Bagot-designed building has been particularly sought after by downsizers, drawn to its large floorplans, integrated hospitality venues on the ground floor, and the rarity of such a building in the transforming suburb now connected by the new Sydney Metro.

We recently spoke to Wahroonga downsizers Tony and Sineeart, who moved into their new three-bedroom apartment just a few months ago.

Like many first-time off the plan buyers, Tony and Sineeart were initially unsure of the process, but the dedicated team at Aqualand made the buying process easy and enjoyable.

"We didn’t feel like just a buyer," they said. "We were made to feel like we were part of the journey, which made the decision to purchase much easier."

In addition to the apartments themselves, AURA’s podium hospitality offerings played a significant role in the couple’s decision.

"Knowing a coffee or dinner is less than 30 steps from our apartment was a big drawcard," they said.

"We can easily book through AURA's concierge, which makes life even easier."

Beyond dining, the couple has also taken full advantage of AURA’s leisure facilities, particularly the gym and swimming pool. They’ve also spent time with extended family in the community room and on the rooftop sky deck, which offers views to the north.

Reflecting on their experience so far, they shared, "It’s almost three years after we bought our apartment, and now that we’re living here, we can say our expectations have been completely exceeded by both the building and what surrounds it."
