Taroona's Hillgrove property finds buyer

A nineteenth century heritage-listed property in Taroona has sold.
The historic Tasmanian house, known as Hillgrove, is built on a 4.8 hectares, and features uninterrupted views over the Derwent Estuary and Storm Bay.
It has five bedrooms, three bathrooms, formal living areas, a library, five fireplaces, and large gardens.
Built in the 1860's, the home is listed on the Tasmanian Heritage Council and National Trust of Australia.
It previously traded in 2014, when it fetched $1.058 million.
Gayle Walker, from Sotheby's International Realty Greater Hobart, marketed the property. It was asking $1.4 million this time last year.
