Julian Cress, executive producer of The Block, and wife Sarah have listed their redundant Annandale warehouse.

It previously belonged to Julian's late father, the artist Fred Cress.

The couple, who have set up base in Melbourne's Albert Park with their two young boys, commissioned architect Julian Brenchley and designer Darren Palmer to undertake the recent conversion.

The Johnston Lane warehouse now with four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a ground floor gallery has $4 million hopes at its March 24 McGrath auction.

Cress has been the executive producer of the now-Melbourne based series since its 2003 Bondi launch.

He became critical of Sydney council approvals in his pursuit of development sites for the Channel 9 show.
