Westpac boss-in-waiting Brian Hartzer has a new Vaucluse abode.

It is the trophy mansion designed by architect Michael Dysart with impressive rooftop entertaining space.

Recent land title settlement records show a $12.75 million purchase in his wife, Georgiana's name.

It had been offered through Sotheby's International by ISS Australia chief executive Dane Hudson.

Hudson had commissioned the three-storey residence following his 2003 purchase for $5.25 million of the cul-de-sac 1,233 square metre parcel of land

It has views of the ocean, harbour, Bridge and Opera House, spanning 767 square metres of living space over three levels.

It has five en suite bedrooms and seven bathrooms within parents', childrens' and guest wings. Hartzer and his wife share six children aged between 7 and 16.

The gardens designed by Jane Coleman come with gas-heated pool and BBQ station.
